Jeremy & family at Disney World

We were able to spend three days with Jeremy and family at Disney World and we had a wonderful time. The three days were a grueling adventure in endurance, but we made it and had a blast! What fun to watch the kids enjoy the Majic Kingdom and MGM studios.

Princess Caroline

Caroline was Princess For A Day. Holly and I had fun watching them do her hair and nails and "makeup" and put on her princess dress and shoes and give her her wand. The transformation took place in Cinderella's castle. Afterward, in princess fashion, as we passed people and they looked her way, she said, "People are staring at me because I'm a Princess!" It was such fun and she was truly a little trooper at Disney World. She walked just like the rest of us from dawn to dusk and then some!

What a joyous occasion to be present when our first grandchild who had asked Jesus to forgive him of his sins and to come into his heart was baptised this past Sunday, March 8, 2009. I am attempting to put a link to the video of the baptism. If I am able(which I never know with this blog stuff), you will be able to click on it and view the whole ceremony. Dedication Day, March 1, 2009

March came in like a LION! Whipping up the water in Mobile Bay! It was sunny but freezing and so windy! And, of course the twins had on the Bubble suits I had made--short sleeves and NOTHING ON THEIR LEGS! Oh well, all is well that ends well and it was a great time of sharing this special occasion with Jennifer & Jason, Jacob and Joshua. Two sets of grandparents, Charles and me, Jeanne and Ole; Gum Gum & Granddaddy and Nana--the Great-Grandparents; and the Great Aunt & Uncle--my brother and his wife were all there. It was a special time of promising to help raise Jacob and Joshua in a Christian environment/home and to teach them about Jesus with the hopes of their accepting Him as their Lord and Saviour and living for Eternity with all of us in heaven. Awesome!
